History
The roots of Aspect Renovation run deep, tracing back to a family built on hard work and service. Founder Ben Walker, one of five brothers, grew up influenced by two strong role models: his father, Marv, a math and physics teacher, and his grandfather, Stanley, a builder and versatile entrepreneur.
Ben’s hands-on education began at age seven. Throughout his childhood, he spent long summer days working alongside his father and older brothers at the family’s mobile home park, tackling everything from routine maintenance to replacing entire water and sewer systems. Driven by a love for hard work and a desire to keep up with his brothers, Ben also devoted time to his community. Through his church, he provided free roofing, fencing, and handyman services to families in need.
A natural leader, Ben earned the rank of Eagle Scout. During his time in Boy Scouts, he apprenticed under Brad Ruhl, learning the meticulous art of high-end residential painting and cabinet-grade finishes. After graduating high school early at sixteen, Ben explored automotive mechanics and business before launching his first venture, Ace Walker Painting, during a house flip at the onset of the 2008 recession. While the craftsmanship was excellent, the economic timing and growing pains of early business management led Ben to close shop.
With the construction industry at a standstill, Ben successfully pivoted. He earned a degree in Biochemistry and spent six years as a vital technician and trainer at a local environmental laboratory. This detour sharpened his analytical skills and deepened his appreciation for how systems tie together.
Eventually, the trades called him back. Combining his lifelong construction background, meticulous eye for detail, and refined management skills, Ben launched Aspect Renovation. Initially starting with his best friend David, Ben now partners with homeowners, realtors, and investors to deliver exceptional craftsmanship across a wide range of residential renovations.
